Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Soft and chewy on the inside with a slightly crispy edge.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter room temperature
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Combine the butter, sugars, salt and vanilla together in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
- Add eggs, and mix until fully incorporated.
- Mix in the flour, baking soda, baking powder and oats.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Form into balls using a cookie scoop and bake on an un-greased cookie sheet at 350°F for about 10 minutes or until the desiredconsistency is reached.
