Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Soft and chewy on the inside with a slightly crispy edge.
Course Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter room temperature
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Combine the butter, sugars, salt and vanilla together in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
  • Add eggs, and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Mix in the flour, baking soda, baking powder and oats.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Form into balls using a cookie scoop and bake on an un-greased cookie sheet at 350°F for about 10 minutes or until the desiredconsistency is reached.
