Poutine Gravy
This simple gravy tastes great on poutine!
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
- 2 tsp Better Than Bouillon Beef flavor
- ¼ tsp poultry seasoning
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- pinch thyme
- pinch ground rosemary
- to taste salt & pepper
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter with the flour over medium heat. Whisk in the spices and bouillon until smooth and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add the water and continue to cook until the gravy has thickened, stirring constantly.
- Serve over prepared french friends with Gouda cheese curds (or cheese of choice) and enjoy!
Notes
All the spices listed are to taste, if you'd like more or less, or to omit any spice that is totally fine! This is more of just a rough guide.
